Casio India Co. Pvt. Ltd. (CIC), announced the launch of EcoLite XJ-V1 projector,  the addition of a new introductory model to its portfolio of LampFree projectors. A combination of high brightness, amplified colour spectrum, and eco-friendly design, the EcoLite offers educators and business professionals with the ability to enjoy utmost reliability benefits at a budget friendly price of Rs.54995/-.

The EcoLite projector is powered by Casio’s 5th generation Laser & LED Hybrid Light Source technology, which combines a laser, fluorescent element and LEDs to generate high brightness and a 20,000-hour estimated lifespan with minimal brightness degradation and continuous operation. It also provides a 30% increase in LED light output, thus offering a greater increase in colour spectrum when compared to a mercury lamp. It also reduces power consumption for lower CO2 emissions and reduces the perilous impact of mercury on the environment.

The XJ-V1 projector consume half the amount of power per unit than traditional lamp-based projectors as power consumption with the brightest setting is only 180Watt and eco-mode reduces the power consumption up to 50-percent. The LampFree technology also ensures less maintenance and eliminates the need to replace expensive and hazardous mercury lamps, which makes them cost effective and safer for the environment.

Casio’s EcoLite XJ-V1 projector features a throw ratio of 1.54-1.71: 1, 1.1x optical zoom, producing 2700 lumens of brightness, and boasts XGA (1024 x 768) resolution, which is suitable for displaying content from video and computer sources. It also features inputs for RGB and HDMI and includes a variable audio output for external audio and dust resistance structure. The projector comes with a standard 3-year warranty on Main Projector Unit along with a 5-year or 10,000-hour warranty on the Hybrid Laser & LED light source.
