The Problem: India is vulnerable to multiple hazards, ie, floods, storms, droughts, cyclones, earthquakes, snowfall or avalanches. The scale and intensity of disasters has and is increasing over the years. The present system lacks in an organized information system for disaster response to match needs at district, state, and national levels with an integration of corporates, government and relief agencies.

The Solution: There was a need to develop a supply chain management system that would connect the local needs with available resources. Corporate Disaster Resource Network (CDRN) is a web based supply chain management system that helps relief agencies and Government agencies to access and feed in real time information on products and services required for emergency humanitarian relief.

The Result: The CDRN Technology enables one to enter needs, donations, products or supplies in the CDRN system wherein a nationwide network of relief agencies, corporates, state governments, federations, etc. can directly view and access information. Through CDRN, one would be able to provide discounted pricing offers as well as donations directly to various relief agencies.
