Pebble Steel comes with all the Pebble-like features with a week-long battery life, water proof support and e-paper display with Corning's Gorilla Glass on top with a fingerprint-free oleophobic coating. In comparison to Pebble, the Steel version comes in smaller and lighter form factor and gets added with an LED indicator light that can be tweaked by developers in the coming months.

In terms of looks, the Pebble Steel comes in a stainless steel body and with options like Brush Stainless and Black Matte variant and one gets to choose between a black leather strap and the already available metal. Pebble Steel can be ordered from getpebble.com and starts shipping across the globe from January 28.

Pebble smartwatches will be supplemented by its app store that has also been announced by the company at the CES this year. The said apps have been segregated as daily, tools and utilities, remotes, notifications, fitness and games.
