Due to their higher data transmission rates and faster speeds, fiber networks continue to be preferred over wireless at the moment. However, it is anticipated that the performance will be comparable to that of fiber networks as 6G uses THz frequency bands.

However, the United States reportedly held meetings with business leaders, government officials, and academics to discuss the development of 6G standards, so China is not alone in this race. Given China's dominance in the connectivity sector, it would appear that the United States wants to be one step ahead of the competition.

Since it is anticipated that 6G will not be available until 2030, the launch of the technology will take place in a few more years.

However, South Korea, another technological frontier, intends to launch 6G services in 2028. India is additionally essential for the race with the public authority hoping to send off 6G framework by 2029.
