When it comes to having a good game or GG as it goes, one thing that is important is not having to encounter cheaters. Take a look at what CS:GO free version and you will know exactly what cheaters can do to a game. Games like Valorant go as far as to bundle an entire application that only detects if a player is cheating in the game. To give you an idea how cheating can affect a game just take a look at PUBG. Players from Europe and North America actually went so far as to region lock players from Asia and more specifically China due to rampant cheating. Yes, PUBG had to lock players from an entire country to preserve the gaming experience.

Sadly, cheaters will always exist and nowadays they're ruining CoD Warzone. Anyone who has played CoD Warzone will tell you that cheaters have always existed in the game, but the thing is that it hasn't gotten better. If you follow the Infinity Ward Twitter account then you will come across tweets that has a number of the many cheaters they have banned. Even with those banning nothing is changing at all. Cheaters are present in almost every match and the best you can do is report them. So bad is the problem of cheaters that most console players just turn off crossplay. For PC players it's even worse. Many players and that includes streamers and Pro players have actually abandoned the game just because of cheaters.

So what is the problem exactly? Well, for starters CoD Warzone doesn't have a dedicated software that can detect cheating. Instead, it depends on players reporting cheaters and then banning them. Even a child could see the problem with this method. By the time you have the need to report someone your experience has already been ruined. Then there is the fact that even after getting banned a player can just make a new account because they don't actually need to climb any ranks or grind really hard. Activision did try to stop cheaters from making new accounts by making the creation of an account a bit more tedious. Not a bad move actually by an incomplete move. I'm not saying that what CoD Warzone needs is a third party anti-cheat software but till the time they don't figure out what's going on they should use one atleast.

The worse thing they can do is follow the footsteps of CS:GO and make sure that only battle pass players get a cheater free experience. A game like CoD Warzone is something that many of us have always wanted to play but if they don't fix the situation they're in then we might need to move on.
