Lenovo Thinkpad Helix

Lenovo is the most dynamic proponent of convertibles and with the success of Yoga, they have come up with another stunner in Lenovo Helix. Based on the same principle as Yoga, of flipping it back to use it in any position, it also plays the dual role of a convertible and hybrid at once. It can be used as a tablet by turning the screen backwards, and if you wish to use it only as a tablet, it can be detached from the base. Helix comes with a bundled smart pen, its full HD screen is Gorilla Glass protected. It can be an ideal enterprise convertible with its powerful i7 processor, 256GB SSD, upto 8GB RAM, stylus pen for input and a battery life of upto 10 hours.

LG H160

LG H160 earmarks LG's foray into the convertible segment. It features an 11.6-inch multi-touch screen, has Windows 8 and slides upwards, like Sony Vaio Duo, to become a keyboard ready ultra book. Though, the slider doesn't work manually, it opens up by pressing a side button. Its LCD based multi-touch display sports 1366x768p resolution. The whole device is just 15.9mm thick and weighs 1.05 Kg. It has a wide array of connectivity options like USB, HDMI, micro SD card slot, WiFi and comes with a smart touch pen.

Asus Vivo Tab Smart

Asus Vivo Tab Smart is the latest addition to Asus hybrids and as the name suggests is stylish and slim. It very light, weight at just 580g, is powered by dual core Atom processor and 2GB RAM. It's primarily targeted at the low priced segment where the likes of Surface and Google Nexus Tab have done well. It will run on Windows 8, and will come in 32GB and 64GB variants. The display will measure 10 inches and has a resolution of 1366x768p. It has an 8MP camera, and instead of a detachable keyboard comes with a separate keyboard.

Lenovo Yoga HS

Another Lenovo convertible to make its debut at CES is Lenovo Yoga 11S, a multi-mode mini-ultra book. It has an 11.6 inch screen, will run Windows 8 on Core i5 processor, will have 4-8GB RAM, 128-256GB SSD and weighs 1.4 Kg. Like other Yoga models, this one has a touch screen that can fold into a tablet. It will be one of the first devices that will run on Intel's low power Ivy Bridge Y series processors.
