According to Corning's exploration, nearly 84 per cent of smartphone consumers across three of the most significant requests – China, India, and the US – consider continuity as one of the important factors when buying a phone, the launch of the Gorilla Glass Victus 2 was broadcast via a press release.

Corning also promises bettered continuity and gave a sanctioned statement participating that the new glass has survived drops of over one metre on a face replicating concrete and up to two metres on a face analogous to asphalt.

The glass was said to maintain its scratch resistance up to four times better than the competitive aluminosilicate. Other aluminosilicate glasses from other manufacturers could not survive a fall indeed from half a metre or lower claims Corning.

As per the company, the Gorilla Glass Victus 2 is presently being tested by multiple guests and is anticipated to arrive in the market within the coming few months. Gorilla Glass has been used by more than 8 billion devices by more than 45 major brands, according to the glass manufacturer.

Although Corning hasn't mentioned any names yet, it did say that several customers are testing the product and that it should reach the demands in the coming few months. Now, there are a couple of smartphone manufacturers who're going to launch smartphones in the next few months.

Moreover, Samsung's Galaxy S23 comes to mind, and as per a recent report, the lineup could be launching in February 2023 and is largely likely that the forthcoming flagships will use the Gorilla Glass Victus 2 as Samsung flagships are presently using Victus for now.
