Tata manages to top both the 100-499 and 500-999 employee segments

The Users' Choice Club is taken by Tata in the 100-499 employees segment. Reliance and Airtel end up a distant second and third positions respectively. In the 500-999 employees segment there is a narrow fight to the top between Tata and Reliance but the former still manages to fare better.

In the 100-499 employees segment Airtel, Tata and Reliance users are equally satisfied with their products with mean scores around 4.2/5 but BSNL needs a lot of catching up to do with a score of 3.5. In the 500-999 employees segment, the story remains the same with the top three sharing the honours.

We looked at the break-up of the most important thing that users were satisfied about the brands they currently owned. In the 100-499 employees segment, 51% of Reliance users gave brand name as the reason. 50% of BSNL users were happy with the quality of service they were getting. In the 500-999 employees segment, 50% of Airtel users quote brand name as the reason for owning it, while 53% of the Tata users quote quality of service as the premium reason.

We queried people on the primary reason they were likely to purchase a particular brand in future. In the 100-499 employee segment, 50% of those likely to buy BSNL quoted brand name as the reason, while 53% of those likely to purchase Airtel cited its quality of service as the reason. In the 500-999 employees segment, 55% of those likely to purchase Airtel quoted its brand value as the reason, while 42% of those likely to purchase Tata quoted its quality of service as the reason.

In the 100-499 employees segment Tata, Airtel and Reliance all enjoy very high percentage of user loyalties. However, BSNL has reasons to be worried as 33% of its current users are likely to shift to other brands. In the 500-999 segment, again the loyalties run very high.
