HS1 was its first headset which they launched around September 2010, then they released couple of gaming speaker sets last year which were very successful in the market. This gaming headset is the cheaper version of the two headsets HS1 and HS1A and is based on the HS1A design. The design is not that eye catching though but gives you a good quality of output. The 1300 features 50mm drivers, memory foam ear pads, a noise canceling microphone and what Corsair call an optimized baffle and geometry that's designed to funnel the sound waves into your ear canal with ease. Corsair put a blue streak around the closed back, circumaural ear cups of the 1300 adds an attractive dash of color while the big flat arms of the headset gives you a rugged look.

Performance

The Audio quality of this device is average. The headset provides plenty of punch and depth in both music and video. When we played some acoustic guitars and the output was of decent quality. But as we played some heavy drum and bass or techno sound in this. There was some distortion in the sound. We played Gears of War and it performed quite well till mid range.

Bottomline: It's very comfortable even when you wear it for long hours.
