COVID-19: Data still remains at the core of it all

We caught up with Ravi Chhabria, Managing Director, NetApp India, during the lockdown and got his views on a variety of topics, including the changing technology paradigms of the COVID-19 crisis and the fact that data still remains at the core of it all.

“Any investment we made in technology has paid off. For two decades if we’ve been running the world’s IT, we are pretty much IT experts now,” feels Chhabria and talks of how we will be able to handle the COVID-19 crisis from a technology point of view. He also talked about a wide range of issues like the problem of migration of data, how to handle exponential growth, democratization of the whole process in IT and why security shouldn’t be an afterthought.
