Creating a VPN in Minutes

Remobo is a free software which can be used to replace the

paid versions of existing difficult to use VPN setups as it can create a VPN

instantly and securely. It lets you login easily and add users to your buddy

list, and create a secure network for you. In private chat messaging, the file

sharing client helps share information within the buddy list as well. Remobo

lets you control your computer and access files securely while away from the

system. It also creates a direct, peer-to-peer connection between your computers

to attain maximum speed. We can share files amongst computers, friends, and

family in a private and encrypted format using BitTorrent and run games apart

from running business apps such as video conferencing, streaming media, secure

instant messaging etc. Almost any 3rd party application can be run on top of

Remobo using the VPN setup.

Registered users can log in using their credentials. New users have to register with remobo.com through the New account tab.

Clicking on the new user tab takes the user to this window where username and password, and a valid email id are required to register.

The user is now registered with remobo.com and he can start using services of the instant private network using Remobo application from his computer.

The user can add registered users known as “buddies” to their list and Remobo client. This helps create a private network amongst users.

Remobo facilitates sharing of files amongst users of the private network. A user can click on a particular buddy and share files with multiple buddies on the network.

The buddy to whom a file is sent, receives a notification. He has the right to accept or cancel sharing of this file.

A user can view files on the page where all files being shared are listed with the names of users who uploaded them using a BitTorrent client.

Remobo allows private chat and messaging amongst users of a private network. A user can click on a buddy and start a private chat client application.

A user can click on the buddy whose system it wants to be visible via VPN. After the user is authenticated, request is sent to the buddy system for approval.

Once the authentication is accepted, an instant VPN is set up and the user can remotely work on this system. All systems and 3rd party applications can be operated on.
