Some of the coolest in ultra portable MP3s from Creative–the Nomads, Jukeboxes and the Zen have GBs of space–more than enough for your entire music collection. Plus, they also have numerous features like firmware upgradeability, additional flash cards, etc.

But if you can’t afford one, then this could be a good choice. The LX100 model has 128MB of space for music, recorded voice or data files. That’s about 25 to 30 songs, or an hour and a half of audio recording. The model also has an elementary FM of sorts. There are equalizer presets plus base and treble adjustment and a large display to make your way around menus and modes. There’s quite a bit of play list management you can do.

It connects to your PC via a USB 1.1 cable and the transfer rate for files is good. The quality of sound you get with its in-ear headphones is rich and clear–though some people tend to get an earache with that variety of phones.

Looks wise, the player is smart, sporty, macho and also wearable. It runs on a Li-ion battery and lasts long, very long! And you can recharge it real quick too. This is much better than having AAA battery based players. The LX200 model, has 256MB memory.
