This is a manageable switch having 24, 10/100 Mbps auto-negotiable ports and two expansion slots. These slots can take Gigabit Ethernet as well as 100Base FX modules. The key feature of this switch is its cluster management, which allows you to cluster four switches spread across a network and manage them with a single IP. The switch also has VLAN functionality, which lets you to create up to 128 VLAN groups. It also supports port trunking of up to four ports, SNMP-based management, and port mirroring. It has 8.8 Gbps switching fabric, which ensures efficient throughputs during the higher transfer rates across all the 24 ports. This switch is very easy to set up and can be mounted on a stackable rack. The switch is manageable via Web, Telnet or direct console cable. You can set priority queues on any of the four 10/100 Mbps ports and Gigabit ports. Another plus is that it supports software routing function with RIP, RIP-2, DHCP relay and proxy ARP.
