This laptop gives you an impression of MackBook Air, given its sleek design.
With a thickness of just 9.99mm, almost half of MackBook Air, this one is the
thinnest of them all. To achieve the extreme thinness, Adamo XPS comes with a
totally different design where keyboard panel goes inside the screen. Without
reading the manual, we bet you can not open Adamo's lid. To open it, you need to
swipe your finger to release latch. Weighing at 1.78 Kg (including adapter),
this laptop would not add much weight to your luggage. The ultra-thin design
does have its own down sides; there's no Ethernet port and only two USB ports.
To get all other ports, you need to use USB adapters. When open, Adamo XPS looks
more like a photo frame with attached keyboard. The big gap beneath the keyboard
helps in keeping the laptop cool, adds instability while typing. Keyboard and
touch pad are responsive with all the necessary shortcut keys.

Moving to performance, though priced more than MackBook Air, this laptop
does not come with a dedicated graphics. Another concern is, though Adamo XPS
comes with ultra low voltage processor (U9400) and solid state drive, there is
no significant enhancement in battery backup. It could manage a battery backup
of 2:15 mins. When we tested this laptop for graphical and overall performance
using our benchmarks, Adamo XPS gave score of 583 3DMarks and 4411 PCMarks
respectively. Both these results are average.
Bottomline: The ultra-thin laptop is not for masses. Go for it if you
want a completely different looking laptop having unique design.
