Dell India has introduced 11 new laptops for business customers in its Latitude and Precision line. While regular consumers can purchase the latest laptops to increase productivity, modified to enable hybrid work models, these laptops have been changed to aid IT teams. The notebooks include 13th-generation Intel processors and some of them also have Intel VPro technology, which makes it easier and safer for organisations to manage their PCs.
Dell has also unveiled a high-end OptiPlex 7410 AIO (all-in-one) Desktop, Ultrasharp monitors, and the new Latitude and Precision laptops. After HP unveiled new Pavillion laptops, Dell unveiled its latest laptops and desktops to facilitate customers' hybrid work.
Dell Precision series 2023
Compared to the Latitude series, Dell's Precision 2023 lineup is a bit larger, but the new laptops are packed with features.
Three laptops are part of the Dell Precision series:
- Dell Precision 7780 with starting price of Rs. 149,000.
- Dell Precision 5680 with starting price of Rs. 145,000.
- Dell Precision 3480 with starting price of Rs. 76,000.
- The screen sizes of the three Dell Precision series laptops vary, and the Precision 7780 has a 17-inch screen. The Precision 3480 and the Precision 5680 have displays that are 14 and 16 inches, respectively.
- According to Dell, the new Precision 5680 is "ideal" for those who work with large amounts of data to analyse. With the NVIDIA RTX 5000 Ada Generation mobile GPU, the laptop may be customised with Intel Core i9 (45W) processors and up to 64GB of DDR5 RAM.
- The business places a lot of emphasis on its display. The Precision 5680 boasts the "world's smallest footprint for a 16-inch workstation." The screen has four grade-A audio speakers, a haptic touchpad, three-sided InfinityEdge bezels, a 16:10 aspect ratio, up to UHD+ PremierColor display resolution, and an FHD IR camera with proximity and ambient light sensor. Additionally, it offers unmatched power and performance with an HDMI port, a full-size SD card slot, and an optional smart card reader.
Dell Latitude series 2023
There are seven laptops in the new Dell Latitude lineup:
- Dell Latitude 9440 with starting price of Rs. 1,94,900.
- Dell Latitude 7440 with starting price of Rs. 124,000.
- Dell Latitude 7640 with starting price of Rs. 15,000.
- Dell Latitude 5440 with starting price of Rs. 87,000.
- Dell Latitude 3540 with starting price of Rs. 60,000.
- Dell Latitude 3340 with starting price of Rs. 65,000.
- Dell Latitude 3440 with starting price of Rs. 59,000.
- The Latitude 9440 is the most expensive business notebook in the new lineup, as the price would imply. The laptop has a 14-inch touchscreen and 360-degree hinges that allow users to use it as a tablet. For an edge-to-edge viewing experience, the display with "InfinityEdge" bezels offers QHD+ resolution and a 16:10 aspect ratio.
- To extend the laptop's battery life by up to three hours, Dell lowered the power consumption of the backlit keyboard by up to 75%. Additionally, the business uses a brand-new mini-LED backlit keyboard technology. According to the manufacturer, the laptop's main selling points are its portability and better security, thanks to Intel VPro technology.
- On the other hand, the new Latitude 7000 series from Dell offers various sizes, form factors, and features. Dell describes the Latitude 7340 and 7440 Ultralights (UL) as the "world's smallest and lightest 13.3-inch and 14-inch premium commercial laptops." The 14-inch model weighs about 1.2 kg, compared to the 13-inch model's under 1 kg weight. Both devices have optional Wi-Fi 6E and 5G capabilities for better connectivity and come in 2-in-1 forms. For enhanced visuals, there is a 5-megapixel camera as well.
