Asus has introduced its latest Transformer Book hybrid detachable tablet in the country. The company is one brand which is equally focused on both Android and Windows 8 devices and offers wide array Windows 8 based products starting from around Rs 35,000 and going as high as Rs 90,000.

Asus claims that Transformer Book TX300 is the world’s thinnest Window 8 tablet and detachable notebook, making it the perfect hybrid device for both personal and office use.

The Asus Transformer Book sports a 13.3-inch full HD display with IPS panel and offers touch support as well. The tablet-cum-notebook packs an Intel 3rd Gen i5 processor and comes powered by touch-enabled platform of Windows 8. The Transformer Book comes with a 4 GB DDR3 RAM and gets 500 GB storage drive and 128 GB SSD as well.

The tablet has a 5 MP camera at the back and a HD camera on the front which is meant for video calling. In terms of connectivity, the tablet gets Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, 2 USB 3.0 ports, HDMI port and Ethernet.

The device features ASUS SonicMaster audio with Bang & Olufsen ICEpower® that is dedicated to audiophiles. The device has up to five hours’ battery life in full notebook mode and up to eight hours in tablet mode.

Asus has priced the Transformer Book at Rs 91,999 and it will be available at Asus outlets in the coming days.
