This book is for people who want to learn Dreamweaver MX 2004 on Windows (Dreamweaver is available for Mac as well). It covers everything about Dreamweaver 2004, such as inserting images for background, creating tables and layouts, formatting and editing text formats with CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) and layers, and editing HTML code. The book is divided into five parts and each part has four to six chapters covering the topics in detail. The first part talks about the user interface and how to work with various panels. The second part covers basic information related to Web page designing, text editing, text formatting using CSS. Part three talks about how to work with tables in Dreamweaver, how to create frames, framesets and build forms. Part four gets into making your websites more dynamicz and tells how to use Dreamweaver to add sounds, flash animations, movies and other media to your website. The last part covers how to publish your website using Dreamweaver’s built-in file transfer feature, and also some of its testing and reporting features.

The bottom line: A good book for website designers.
