It is preinstalled with 24.2MP DX-format CMOS sensor and Nikon F Lens mount that makes it an even more interesting pick. The body of the camera is mainly plastic, but it doesn't give a robust feel to the camera.

The camera is an exact copy of its predecessor in terms of body, weight, and overall dimensions. A notable difference, however, is the inclusion of an infrared remote sensor at the rear and grip of the camera. The camera comes with a standard ISO range span from 100 to 6400 ISO, which can be extended to 12,800 in the camera's Hi 1 setting. It has a shutter speed of 1/4000 in 30 seconds, which helps to take quick and clear pictures. It can shoot full HD videos at 30fps.

The camera provides a continuous shooting feature from 3fps to 4fps. It takes 0.9 seconds to start up. The camera is Eye-Fi and GPS compatible and has Twin IR remote receivers. For storage purposes, the camera uses

SD (Secure Digital) and UHS-I compliant SDHC and SDXC memory cards. And as far as connectivity is concerned, the camera provides mini-HDMI and USB terminals, A/V output, and an external microphone socket. It is the best quality camera available in this price range and comes with an unbelievable 2-year warranty.
