If you are tired of filtering spam manually, try using
iHateSpam. It integrates with MS Outlook, Outlook Express, Hotmail and Eudora.
We, however, tested this tool for Outlook and Outlook Express. This application
takes no time to clean up your mailbox, in both automatic and manual modes. All
you have to do is install the application and let it acquire the latest spam
definitions from its server. The application integrates very well with MS
Outlook and is able to quarantine the spam with just a click. But the problem
with using iHateSpam with Outlook Express is that there is no automatic
filtering option available. For undetected spam, you have to put that mail under
the spam section once, after which it updates the spam definitions and next time
it's automatically quarantined. You can set the security thresholds to keep
yourself out of the sorting hassles. The spam mail can be quarantined, sent to
the deleted folder or bounced back to the sender. We tell you how it does this.
