We are entering an era of rapid digitization #Lendingkart

Lendingkart’s Chief Analytics Officer Abhishek Singh talked about how the mobile has become a game changer from a lending perspective and all the changes taking place during the Covid era.

Abhishek said that the traditional way of trying to understand where the customer works, where his home was all dependent on field verification. The mobile and GPS has changed that. Then lenders started creating their own apps that made the mobile more relevant. Blockchain also has a very important role to play in the account aggregator workspace because there needs to be privacy and security of data.

He added, “100% digitization will still take some time, but it’s become very rapid digitization. People have had to change their business models overnight and that’s starting to shape up most of the digital integration that is happening.”
