You can feed two types of media on the two rolls of this printer

The ColorFast (CF) ink used in this printer is unique to Epson, which is meant to give longer life to your banners, posters, life-size cut-outs and vinyl prints. Another good feature of this printer is that you can feed two different types of media on the two rolls available.

It comes with six different color cartridges–CMYK, Light Cyan and Light Magenta– each with a capacity of 500 ml. The driver keeps you informed of the ink level in the cartridges, and the number of pages you can print depending on the paper size specified. You can choose to print on media up to 1.5 mm thick and also cut sheets up to 44” in width. The printer comes with both auto and manual cutters. You can print on presentation matte paper, glossy photo paper, adhesive paper, silken coated cloth, poster board and semi-gloss photo paper.

The printer has 128 MB RAM and makes use of a photo accelerator module to speed up print jobs. It has drivers for Mac 7.6.1 or later, Windows 9x, Me, NT 4.0 and 2000. It also supports Epson RIP and HP-GL/GL2 for CAD applications. It supports parallel, USB and option FireWire interface. An optional 10/100 base Ethernet card lets you network the printer.
