It offers fast, high resolution, color printouts, and is best-suited for home users or small businesses. It offers a maximum resolution of 1,440x720 dpi, and can go down to 180x180 dpi for draft printouts. Its print speed is rated at 5

ppm, but it can take up to four minutes for a full-color page. It’s a USB-ready printer, though you need the accompanying USB Adapter Kit to connect to the USB port of your PC or Mac. It has a different set of drivers for the

iMac, which are shipped along with the USB Adapter Kit. 

It’s possible to print almost full bleed (cover the whole print area) using this printer, because it needs just 0.12” of margin space on all sides. This is quite low compared to other printers in this category. It has a rated cartridge life of 540 pages for black text and about 300 pages at 15 percent coverage for the color cartridge. It can print on a variety of media, including speciality inkjet paper, transparencies, glossy films, stickers, self-adhesive sheets, and iron-on transfers. The driver has several features like photo-enhance to enable photo-quality outputs. It’s also possible to add watermarks to the printouts, directly from the printer driver.
