ESDS Software enables auto scaling cloud with NetApp

ESDS Software Solution Pvt. Ltd, announced NetApp as the preferred partner for storage solutions. The partnership will help ESDS emerge as the preferred choice for Managed Data Centre Services and Auto-Scalable Cloud solutions for its customers.

ESDS, with its primary state-of-the-art, Uptime Certified, Tier 3 Datacenter in Mumbai (Mahape) has its secondary Datacenter located in Nashik. ESDS was looking out for a fully integrated solution that could consistently deliver high performance with low latency and also provide with high capacity that is designed to scale out without disruption. With NetApp’s fully integrated solution that comes with a single management window for the entire setup, ESDS was able to save cost and establish themselves as the early innovator in the global cloud space.

ESDS chose NetApp’s FAS2554 with Flash Pool, Snap Mirror, Flexclone and Snap Restore to be deployed at its Nashik site for Disaster Recovery (DR) Hosting requirement of some large Enterprise customers. It has deployed NetApp’s SAP applications which are known to lower SAP storage and Data Management costs by up to 50 per cent.

ESDS also choose NetApp All Flash FAS (AFF) 8060 with de-dup, compression configuration and premium bundle for optimized performance at their datacentre. This enterprise storage system comes with a maximum raw capacity of 7200TB and will serve as the backbone of the Hybrid Cloud delivered from ESDS Datacenter. With NetApp AFF s, ESDS could reduce its time to market and realize the ease with which DR drills can be performed without any performance or capacity overhead.
