Filter mail for efficiency

New Update

No matter how much you try, there will always be mail that choke up your mailbox. A way to control such spam is to use e-mail filters. In OE 6, you can set rules on mail, news, and create a list of senders to block. To do this, go to the Tools Menu, choose Message Rules, and select one of the above three options. You can block mail based on the sender, specific words in message body or text, and much more. You can define both the criterion and the action to be taken. In Eudora 5.0, set this from Tools Menu by selecting Filters. Click on the New button, and define the rules. Keep one thing in mind, though–message downloading takes longer after you create mail filters, because they are usually applied after mail has been downloaded.
