Today, ZTE unveils it's new smartphone in the budget segment Blade A2 Plus in India in an exclusive partnership with Flipkart. The budget segment is filled with lots of rivals and to compete with them, ZTE tried to add several features and powerful hardware.
The front is covered with 2.5D curved glass which gives it attractive looks, at the same times, reminds me several other phones, but it's quite close to Nubia N1. It has three capacitive buttons on the bottom bezel which can help you to navigate through the phone easily.
It hosts an 8-megapixel camera at the front and 5.5-inch Full HD (1080 x 1920 pixels resolution) LCD capacitive touch screen with a pixels density of 404PPI.
The smartphone has a metal body painted in gold. It feels rich while holding in hands and offers good grips as well. At the back, the Blade A2 Plus sports a 13-megapixel main camera sensor with Dual LED flash and it can capture 1080p high definition video.
At the bottom, it boasts a speaker grill and microUSB port. I am a bit surprised on still using MicroUSB when Type C market is booming and other competitors are selling their devices with the new USB connectivity.
Mi-Favor, by ZTE, runs on top ofAndroid 6.0 Marshmallow on this device, offering a customized experience.
The device is about 9.8 mm thin and is fueled by a 5000 mAh capacity battery inside. This can also be used as a power bank to power up other devices as like Asus Zenfone Max series phones.
The phone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6750T processor clocked at a speed of 1.5GHz. It comes equipped with 4GB RAM and Mali T860 GPU for the graphics and it supports VoLTE for quality calls. It has a built-in 32GB internal memory storage, which can be expanded via dedicated microSD card slot. The phone is available at Rs. 11,999 on Flipkart.
We soon come back with the detailed review of the device, till then keep visiting for the latest news and other reviews.
