Meta’s first physical retail store is all set to open on its campus in Burlingame, California. In the Meta Store, customers can get live experiences with all of Meta’s hardware products through interactive demos.

One can also make video calls with the Meta Portal, explore Ray-Ban Stories, and check out Virtual Reality (VR) tools with the one-of-its-kind fascinating Meta Quest 2 demo. Meta has also made it easy to shop using a new ‘Shop’ tab on meta.com. At the Meta Store, Meta wants customers to interact with all the products and buy after getting a proper feel of them.

Inside the Meta Store, people will discover how Ray-Ban Stories help capture and share memories. One can find a range of style, color, and lens variations to create the perfect fit in an exclusive demo area. Once inside, one can place a video call to a retail associate to fully explore its capabilities, see Smart Camera in action and play with features like Story Time.

The Meta Store features an interactive Meta Quest 2 display wall, allowing customers to explore the hardware, its accessories, and other available content. In Meta’s immersive demo area, one can try Beat Saber, GOLF+, Real VR Fishing, or Supernatural on a large, wall-to-wall curved LED screen. The large screen displays what one is seeing in the headset. Customers will also get a 30-second mixed reality clip of your demo experience for sharing.

At about 1,550 square feet, the Meta Store has a relatively small footprint for an engaging experience. It was also important for Meta to launch the first Meta Store near Reality Labs HQ, where the company is helping to build the metaverse.

“Having the store here in Burlingame gives us more opportunity to experiment and keep the customer experience core to our development. What we learn here will help define our future retail strategy.” - said Martin Gilliard, Head of Meta Store.
