New Update
Free Jio 5G is now available for iPhones

Reliance Jio has announced that various iPhone devices now support its 5G services. It indicates that people in suitable areas may virtually use Jio's "True 5G" on iPhones for free. Nearly two months have passed since Mukesh Ambani, the chairman of Reliance, made the formal announcement of Jio 5G for the Indian market. Even though there are several 5G-capable devices in India, OEMs like Apple have to release a software update to enable the feature. In the past several weeks, numerous manufacturers of Android smartphones, including OnePlus, Samsung, and Motorola, have released server-side or OTA upgrades that enable the connection option on their products.

What to expect?

Jio 5G might not be instantly accessible even after upgrading the iPhone to iOS 16.2. Users must thus keep in mind two points.

First of all, Jio 5G is offered in a few places. It indicates that you may only use the connectivity option if you reside in an eligible area. Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Kolkata, Varanasi, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, and Nathdwara are a few of these. Gujarat (33 districts) residents may also enjoy Jio's 5G services.

A "welcome offer" to join up for Jio's 5G services is also offered. On the Jio app for iOS, users may register for the welcome offer. Jio will report a request by just pressing the button and, after that, extend a complimentary invitation to use its 5G services.

Additionally, it's important for readers to know that keeping their current 4G SIM card works just fine.
