Galaxy S24 series
The Samsung Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra are slated to be released in January next year. Multiple cell phone regulatory listings have already surfaced, hinting at their features. In October, the top-tier Galaxy S24 Ultra and Galaxy S24+ appeared on the Geekbench benchmarking platform, powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. The US variants of the Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24 Ultra with identical mobile chipsets and slightly different model numbers have been detected on Geekbench.
S24 series phones to be powered by an octa-core Pineapple processor
Two Samsung smartphones with model numbers SM-S926U and SM-S928B, believed to be US models of the Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24 Ultra, have been seen on the Geekbench website. According to the listings, the S24 series phones would be powered by an octa-core Pineapple processor. It has a main CPU core rated at 3.30GHz, three cores clocked at 3.15GHz, two cores capped at 2.96GHz, and two more cores clocked at up to 2.27GHz. The CPU speeds and codename correspond to Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.
S24 series phones: Expected Specifications
According to the claimed Geekbench listing, the Galaxy S24+ has 8GB RAM, while the Ultra model appears to have 12GB RAM. The Galaxy S24 Ultra received 2,117 points for single-core performance and 6,720 points for multicore performance. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S24+ listing suggests 1,902 issues in the single-core test and 3,439 points in the multicore test. GizmoChina was the first to notice the listing. The Geekbench website formerly listed the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra and Galaxy S24+ models with SM-S928U and SM-S926U, respectively.
The Galaxy S24 series is expected to be released on 17 January. The Exynos 2400 chipset is slated to power the standard Galaxy S24. The Galaxy S24 Ultra is expected to have a Titanium frame, while the normal and Plus editions may have an aluminium armour frame. The Galaxy S24 Ultra is expected to have a 5,000mAh battery, while the Galaxy S24+ is expected to have a 4,900mAh battery.
