Garena Free Fire 3 Anniversary Update Is Here, New Character, Weapons Added

Garena Free Fire just dropped its 3 anniversary update on Google Playstore. The new Free Fire: 3volution update is one of the most massive ones in recent times. The game developers have made a ton of tweaks in the game and have even nerfed some weapons that were way too overpowered before. They have added new characters and new weapons as well. The size of the update was around 321GB on Redmi Note 8 Pro but may vary with other devices by a little. 

What has been added in the Garena Free Fire Update:

• Clash Squad in Garena Free Fire

The update will bring the new clash squad season 2 to the game. Starting from the 30th of July the season 2 of Clash squad will begin and now you will be able to see the stats of other players in the game and their rankings. The game has also added a new item in the game called “Horizaline”. With the help of this one item, players will be able to revive themselves in the clash squad game on their own. Horizaline is mentioned in the patch notes of the update and is a very costly item by Garena Free Fire’s own admissions. Once players use Horizaline they will get 100 HP in the match. One thing to note is that the Horizaline can only be used once the player is knocked. Some tweaks have also been done to the Aim Assist for Clash Squad so players will have a more improved experience in the game. 

• Gameplay Improvements in Garena Free Fire Update

In the new Free Fire: 3volution update the developers have added a new spawn island in the game. The spawn island is called “The Runway”. Another thing that has been changes is a bug that players used to exploit according to Garena Free Fire patchnotes. Players will no longer be able to instant headshot by un-crouching really quickly after scoping in. Instead, now those same headshots will do reduced damage. The new update has also brought improvements in the vehicles in the game. Now your driving experience will be much more improved in the game. Some tweaks have been done to the glider system but the biggest one of all is the Health Regeneration change. Players will no longer be able to reach full health outside the safe zone. With the new update, Garena has capped the amount of health players can regenerate outside the safe zone at 50%. 

• Weapons Additions and Updates in Garena Free Fire

A new weapon is being added in the game now. AUG makes it way finally in Garena Free Fire. The gun will be available in both Classic matches and Clash squad matches. It is not confirmed if the AUG will only appear in Hot drops or in Airdrops as of yet. The AUG will come with a 2x scope in Garena Free Fire which can be changed with other scopes. 

AK stopping power has been increased but the recoil is still the same. M249 is getting a major buff in the game for the first time but the details have not been given out how. SPAS12 and XM8 are getting nerfed in the game sadly.  

• New Gamemode in Garena Free Fire After the update

Now players will be able to get more weapon presets in the TDM mode. Before the update players were only allowed the choice of four weapons which has been increased. Players can now purchase weapons and gear with credits provided every round. Big Head Mode has also been tweaked to provide a better experience. Now players will be able to enter the match faster. Now gun king mode will get a squad mode for players who want to play with their teammates. 

• New Characters and Pets in Garena Free Fire Update

In the new Free Fire: 3volution update some new characters and pets are being added. One of them is Luqueta who is based on a footballer. With Luqueta every kill will increase the HP of players by three times all the way up to 35. Mr. Waggor is a penguin pet that is being added. Mr. Waggor can provide players will gloo walls almost every minute in the game. Hayato is getting a new update called Firebrand Hayato. 

• Guild System Update in Garena Free Fire

One of the biggest complaints of players in the game was that many guilds had inactive guild leaders. So in this new update, Free Fire has done some changes to the guild system. Guilds that have inactive leaders will be notified to choose a temporary new guild leader from themselves. There will be a vote among the members of the guild and the new temporary guild leader will have all the power of a guild leader until the original leader returns. 

• Bugs and Performance improvements in Garena Free Fire after the update

New match summary page for Clash Squad and Gun King. Players can now send a system-generated link to invite friends to join their party. Optimized in-game weapon HUD. The Thermal Scope can now see through smoke grenades. Party invitation display optimization. Updated new content into the FF Journal. Close combat mode introduction video display optimization. Optimized the overtime display for TDM mode. Parachuting animation optimization. Kalahari has now been added to the custom rooms. Fixed a bug where players can leave the preparation area in some modes before freezing time is over.
