G.E.T POWER has selected IBM's hardware platform to run their SAP application. G.E.T POWER is a player in the field of design, fabrication, supply, construction, and erection of transmission and distribution lines, substation with structures and industrial electrification works on turnkey basis. After careful evaluation, the company chose a complete hardware solution from IBM --x3650M2, DS3950 storage and IBM Rack with KVM Switch.

G.E.T POWER required a cost effective scalable solution which would take care of their existing workload and also support their SAP upgrades for the next 3-4 years. The application will have the flexibility to redefine workloads for their ERP production environment.

IBM secured the deal after demonstrating the value proposition on total cost of operation, clear strategy, technical capabilities, an assured road map for scalability and investment protection discussion. IBM's ability to convince the customer on Hardware reliability, availability, performance and investment production, played a key role in G.E.T POWER selecting IBM.  The IBM solution helps simplify the client's environment without sacrificing performance or availability and improves service time to G.E.T POWER customers.
