This motherboard supports Core2 Extreme Quad Core. It has FSB support of
1066/800/533 MHz and has 4 DDR II DIMM memory slots that support up to 8 GB of
memory. It has onboard Realtek ALC833 audio chip which supports high definition
audio. Along with these things, it has 1 PCI Express x16 slots, 3 PCI Express x1
slots and 3 PCI slots, and also has SATA II interface with RAID support. Plus it
has 3 USB connectors. However, it does not have onboard graphics, so you will
have to buy that separately. But it also gives you the freedom to choose any
graphics card and enjoy gaming. It seems that no onboard graphics is deliberate
and the motheboard is primarily targeted at the gamers only.

We have tested this motherboard with 1 GB RAM, 120 GB HDD, Intel Core 2 Duo
1.8 GHz and with Nvidia GeForce 6600 GT graphics card. After running different
benchmarks on this system the result was satisfactory. It scored 3149 on PCMark
06 and on 3DMark 05, it scored 1942 3DMarks. Well, let’s have a look on other
benchmarks to see its dual core performance; it scored 266 CB-CPU on single core
and 497 CB-CPU on dual core usage on CINEBENCH 9.5. And in the POV Ray test, it
scored 92.73 PPS.

Bottom Line: Overall a good board, but without graphics. While, some
other boards in its class offer the same.
