EP35C-DS3R is the latest from Gigabyte. Among its key features include its
support for DDR2 and DDR3 memory modules, as well as 45nm-based CPUs. Gigabyte
EP35C-DS3R is based on the P35 Express Chipset. The Gigabyte model run a front
side bus speed up to 1600MHz FSB and different memory ratios can be set so that
you can over clock your CPU without running your RAM too fast. The motherboard
is based on P35 Express Chipset. It has 1 X PCI Express X 16, 3 X PCI Express X
1, and 3 X PCI slots and upto 12 USB 2.0 ports.

Motherboard was tested with 600 Watts SMPS, 120 GB SATA 7200rpm HDD with Quad
Core 2.66 GHz Processor with 2 GB DDR2 533 MHz RAM with XP SP2 Operating System.
The score for BW was 28.5 which is good while the Performance vs Speed scores
for Sis of Sandra was 62.5 and 0.44ns/MHz. The scores for 3D Mark, PC Mark and
Pov-Ray benchmarks were 3490, 4257 and 18558.87 respectively. 1CPU-753 and
xCPU-2591 were the Cinebench 10 scores. Using NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GT the scores
obtained for the Gaming performance of UT3, Crysis and Company of Heroes were
49.14 frame relay, 18.19 FPS and 117.0 FPS respectively.
