New Update

Meant for power users, this AMD based motherboard supports the next

generation AMD AM3 Phenom II/Athlon II processors. It comes with in-built 128MB

DDR3 1066 MHz sideport memory, a unique feature which enhances the performance

of 3D upto plus 10% as stated by Gigabyte. The motherboard has an integrated ATI

Radeon HD 4200 graphics card supporting the direct 10.1. It supports DDR3 memory

up to 1800MHz. The motherboard has dual BIOS creating a fail-safe option for

users. Like most motherboards, this one has an advance proprietary software

design which enables this board to dynamically adjust the CPU power depending

upon the load. This motherboard performed well in our tests. For benchmarking

this board, we used AMD Phenom II X4 965 processor with 2GB memory, 120GB HDD

and Win XP as the OS, keeping all settings in default condition. The score

ticked to 3291 in 3DMarks which is far better than ECS A780 GM-A Ultra

Motherboard which scored 1384 3DMarks. In PCMark, the score was not as expected,

it scored 6687 which is little less than ECS A780. Similarly in case of

Cinebench, the scores were 8562 CB-CPU, 500 CB-CPU -less than the ECS

motherboard. In POV-Ray, the motherboard scored better than ECS. It gave 23.89

FPS in unreal tournament benchmark without a dedicated graphics card.
