We compared it with a gaming card based on the GeForceFX 5900 GPU, and found similar results for both. While the FX5900 managed to deliver higher frame rates than the Radeon9800 in Quake 3 Arena and Serious Sam benchmarks, the Radeon9800 scored better in 3DMark 2003 by a small 5% margin. Gigabyte Radeon9800xt comes with free CDs of Power DVD 5 (a utility) and games - Rainbow Six3 Raven Shield, Tomb Raider, Will Rock. The card comes with a utility called V-Tuner, which can be used to over clock the card.

Priced at Rs 41,000, the card is aimed at ultra-gamers and performance enthusiasts.
