New Update

With decent hardware, build quality and affordable price it is now giving Micromax, Karbonn, Zen and other smartphone manufacturers in the budget segment a pretty hard time. The Gionee Elife E6 features a premium uni-body design with a polycarbonate build which is similar to Nokia. The Gionee Elife E6 features a 5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels resolution) IPS screen based on One Glass Solution (OGS) technology with a Gorilla Glass 3 layer for protection.

On the screen, the text and images look extremely crisp. Under the sunlight the screen looks decent, and viewing angles are excellent thanks to the IPS panel. Overall, the Gionee Elife E6 has one of the best displays in its class. The Elife E6 runs on Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean and has a custom ‘Amigo' skin on top of the UI, and offers themes that let the user customise the phone's home screen and app icons.

The Gionee Elife E6 sports a 13-megapixel auto-focus camera with a Sony Exmor R sensor and five element lenses. It also includes a second generation BSI sensor for low-light imaging. It takes good quality images in daylight but in low-light conditions, the images did not come out well. All things considered there are some basic issues that we have become accustomed to, with full HD smartphones i.e. battery life and one should not expect any miracles from this phone as well.
