GoDaddy, the world's top platform for small businesses, has launched India's ‘Cup of Coffee' campaign to personally demonstrate to small businesses and entrepreneurs how easy it is to build a website, thereby enabling them to establish a Web presence. The campaign's theme is ‘Get a Web presence in the time you finish a cup of coffee,' which aims to exhibit how convenient and fast it is to build a great website, at an affordable cost. The ‘Cup of Coffee' campaign is running simultaneously in three cities - New Delhi, Mumbai and Hyderabad for a period of one month.

GoDaddy has been helping small businesses in India since January 2009 when it began offering .IN domain names, India's country code extension. GoDaddy identified India as a priority market for global expansion while launching full-scale operations in June 2012, and has its largest international office with a customer care center in India. Since its entry last year, GoDaddy India has grown its customer base by 100 percent, with thousands of customers now benefiting from GoDaddy's products.

"GoDaddy's small business expertise helped me accomplish my dreams," said GoDaddy customer Shikhar Dogra, who owns dental tourism business, Smile-India.com. "I was looking for a simple and affordable way to grow my business and GoDaddy India had all the right tools to help me build my website. Now I can easily reach customers around the world."

At various SMB clusters, a GoDaddy mobile-experience-zone will be positioned during the campaign period, offering a first-hand experience of how SMBs can register a domain name, build a website, get an email address and leverage Google AdWords to promote their website.

This integrated campaign is a first-of-its-kind in India's industry, in the way it is enabling SMBs to get a Web presence. The key value propositions being offered to the SMB are:

Trained GoDaddy experts are going door-to-door in selected clusters of each of the three cities, showcasing how websites can be built quickly and promoted on Google easily. Websites and Google Adwords advertising accounts are built for interested businesses at the mobile-experience-zone or at their doorstep - at no additional cost.

· Integrated Campaign

To complement GoDaddy India's on-ground efforts and to ensure maximum outreach to small businesses across the three cities, radio and outdoor advertising are being deployed.

· Local customer support

A team of local agents, who speak local languages, are providing GoDaddy's brand of award-winning customer service to Indian customers. Since opening in June 2012, customer call volumes at the GoDaddy India Customer Care Center have risen by 400 percent. These calls are from entrepreneurs and small business owners in India who want to set up a Web presence to help leverage the value of the Internet.

"If we look at the statistics, there are nearly 150 million Internet users and fewer than four million domain names in India. Additionally, with more than 30 million small and medium businesses in India, there are only half-a-million websites in the country," said GoDaddy India Vice President and Managing Director Rajiv Sodhi. "Given this, while India represents a huge opportunity for GoDaddy, there is a clear industry need to undertake initiatives that expand the overall market in India and that's the reason behind this campaign."

Sodhi added, "From a cultural perspective, India is largely a do-it-for-me market, which means the expectation is that someone else will build and manage an online business for the customer. GoDaddy India is designed to help India's small businesses build a successful online aspect of their business, whether they are a one-person operation or a bigger, established company. This is what we do. We help our customers by connecting them with our small business experts who can guide business owners and entrepreneurs through what it takes to get a business online successfully. We can help our customers solve problems, harness the Internet and make their businesses successful."

Ordinary people can achieve extraordinary success with GoDaddy, which serves more than 11 million paying customers worldwide. GoDaddy also has more than 55 million domain names under management, the largest portfolio in the history of the Internet.

GoDaddy is based in Scottsdale, Ariz. USA. Internationally, along with offices in India and Canada, GoDaddy operates data center facilities in Europe and Asia.
