New Update

The updates bonanza is not only limited to Apple and iOS as Google releases its latest update for Chrome web browser with slight tweaks and added features. The popular browser has steadily climbed up the ladder in the market and has been the favorite among users quite some time now. Just like Mozilla does with Firefox, Google's Chrome team has been pro-actively updating its browser so as to retain its status quo in the market. The latest set of changes comprises of making better use of new tab, offering easier access to previous URL (via tab) and a dedicated App icon right below the URL bar and alongside the bookmark bar.

Search: Get the Google Doodle and other features of Google on any new tab you open.

Recently closed tab: Use the Chrome menu to get your recently closed tabs from any site you're on.

Apps: Access apps page by clicking on the Apps icon in the bookmark bar

After using the updated Chrome, we have found couple of issues that can be fixed. Firstly, the Google Doodle has merely been placed on the new tab and whenever you start typing on the same the text appears on the URL bar at the top. The option of going to previous closed tab on the Chrome menu is quite rigid and one is better off using the closed tab screen thumbnails to open their preferred site with a simple click.

All in all, the updated Chrome comes with handy additions and makes the previously dull looking new tab a lot more resourceful.
