Google made the announcement in a blog post on the Workspace platform, stating that "In 2021, we introduced Brand Indicators for Message Identification (BIMI) in Gmail, a feature that requires senders to use strong authentication and verify their brand logo in order to display a brand logo as an avatar in emails."

The blue check mark in Gmail is available to all customers of Google Workspace, private accounts, and older G Suite Basic and Business customers. According to Google, the blue check mark will assist users as well as email security systems in identifying and preventing spam. Senders will also be able to use the trust that their brand has earned.

"Users will now see a checkmark icon for senders that have adopted BIMI, building upon that feature." This will assist clients with recognizing messages from authentic shippers versus impersonators," it expressed.

What you need to do to be eligible?

The blue mark of approval is accessible to all find out about Work area clients, as well as inheritance G Suite Essential and Business clients and individual Google Records. On May 3, the feature was made available to end users.

How would I get blue checks for Gmail accounts?

An emerging email specification known as Brand Indicators for Message Identification, or BIMI, makes it possible to use logos controlled by a brand within the email clients that support them. By delivering brand logos to the customer's inbox, BIMI makes use of an organization's efforts to implement DMARC protection.

One must validate their logo on BIMI before receiving the verification mark. Set up your account on BIMI with the domain information to accomplish this. Upload your logo and register it as a trademark after that. You can now apply for a confirmed imprint testament (VMC) to get a blue mark for your image logo on Gmail.
