The Nest Wi-Fi Pro mesh router, which Google unveiled last month, boasts compatibility with faster Wi-Fi 6E, reaching up to 5.4Gbps.

However, many customers complained about limited download and upload rates ranging from 40 Mbps to 90Mbps on the Google Nest community site. According to a media source, users said their old Nest Wi-Fi Pro, which only supports Wi-Fi 5, functioned better than the new gadget. However, only some people who bought the new router are troubled by these problems. It predominantly impacted UK customers who utilised point-to-point protocol over ethernet (PPPoE) networks, as acknowledged by Google.

According to the research, many digital subscriber lines (DSL) providers employ this approach, which necessitates consumers configuring their router with a username and password before accessing the Internet.
