Looks like Google and Asus are readying themselves to launch the next-generation Nexus 7 tablet in the Indian market a lot more sooner than its first model. And this latest development on the Nexus 7 front has strengthened our belief that the latest version will come to the Indian shore before end of the year. The Nexus 7 is now available in the country at less than Rs 10,000 making it one of the most viable tablets along with Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 for its pricing.
Online retailer, Flipkart is now selling the Nexus 7 tablets starting at Rs 9,999 and priced the 32 GB 3G variant at Rs 16,999 which is also an attractive pricing for the Nexus 7 tablet, which is still one of the better build tablets available in the market.
These price reductions clearly signal the imminent incoming of the Nexus 7 2013 model which was launched by Google at the Google I/O event earlier this year. Unlike the first Nexus 7, this one is lot slimmer, thinner and faster packed with quad-core CPU and 2 GB RAM sporting a full HD 1920x1080 pixels display. We have received inputs from our sources that Google is looking to bring its Nexus 7 2013 to India much earlier this time around and these price changes point us to the fact that, the launch of new Nexus 7 could happen anytime now. Stay tuned..
The move comes right after Amazon announced similar price cut on its Kindle Fire HD tablet in India and with the announcement of Kindle Fire HDX tablets as well.
