This year's Google Pixel 8 series is rumoured to launch in October. The upcoming Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro aren't scheduled to be released for another few months, but they have been circulating in rumours for a while. Most recently, online leaks revealed the Pixel 8's retail price and basic features. With the Pixel 8, Google is anticipated to release the newest Tensor G3 SoC. It might have a 50-megapixel dual rear camera unit and an OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The Pixel 8 is anticipated to include a 4,485mAh battery capable of 24W cable charging.

A tipster, Yogesh Brar (@heyitsyogesh), tweeted the Google Pixel 8's price and other details. The device will reportedly be released in early October and cost between $649 and $699 (approximately between Rs. 53,600 and Rs. 57,700), according to the leak. This represents a significant price increase over the Pixel 7's predecessor. The latter debuted in October of last year for $599 (approximately Rs. 49,400). The Pixel 7's starting pricing in India is Rs. 59,999.

- According to rumours, the Pixel 8 will use Android 14 and have a 6.17-inch full-HD OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. Tensor G3 SoC and 8GB of RAM may power it. The Tensor G3 SoC, an improvement to the Tensor G2 SoC, powers the new Pixel 7a and Pixel Fold. It is rumoured to have storage capacities of 128GB and 256 GB.
