Google to introduce AI

The addition of generative AI capabilities to Google's products, including Search and Gmail, has been revealed. As artificial intelligence (AI) dominated the conversation at Google I/O, a report now claims that the tech giant has approved the use of AI technology in advertising and ad-supported consumer services, including YouTube.

According to CNBC, Google needs to utilize generative simulated intelligence contributions to increment spending, help income, and further develop edges apart from search (Google Search), email (Gmail), and calculation sheets (Google Sheets).

It also stated that plans to automate advertising and ad-supported consumer services with generative AI powered by large language models (LLMs) had also been approved.

According to the documents, AI-powered customer support for more than 100 Google products, such as the Google Play Store, Gmail, Android Search, and Maps, may also be implemented by Google.

"Specific answers through simple, clear sentences and allowing for follow-up questions to be asked before suggesting an advertising plan" could be the goal of these automated support chatbots.

Economic uncertainty has impacted Google as well as companies like Twitter and Meta, the parent company of Facebook, which derive a significant portion of their revenue from advertising. Additionally, Google's paid search advertising conversion rates have decreased this year, according to the CNBC report.

Google also plans to use PaLM 2-powered tools to suggest videos for YouTube creators to make and allow advertisers to generate their own media assets. Google's most recent LLM, PaLM 2, was unveiled at the company's biggest 2023 event.

In the interim, Google has supposedly been trying PaLM 2 for YouTube youth content for things like titles, and depictions. The technology is being used to test the idea of offering five video ideas based on topics that seem relevant to creators.

Alphabet and Google's CEO, Sundar Pichai, stated earlier this year that Google is continuing to invest in search capabilities, including the use of artificial intelligence.

Pichai stated, "Our AI principles and the highest tenets of information integrity remain at the core of all our work as we continue to bring AI to our products."
