The certification exams – Secure Web Application Development LifeCycle Practitioner (SWADLP), Web Application Security Defender (WASD), alongwith exams in domains such asmobile, cloud and cyber security– will be delivered via Pearson VUE’s network of over 5,000 test centres in 180 countries around the world.

The SWADLP exam, launched in March 2017 will evaluate individuals’ implementation skills in security practices – assessing candidates’ awareness of application security challenges, threats, standards, best practices and more to ensure security is integrated at every phase of the software development lifecycle.

Nitin Kotwal, CEO of Hack2Secure, said: “We have chosen Pearson VUE to deliver this new exam programme because of its global reach and standards, providing our candidates a world-class and seamless certification experience along with flexibility in exam scheduling, easy access to test centres and quick result feedback.”

Divyalok Sharma, senior director – client development at Pearson VUE, said: “Through our new agreement with Hack2Secure we can offer an efficient and convenient computer-based testing programme with measures in place to offer candidates a more consistent test delivery, faster scoring and reporting, and enhanced test security.”
