Hgst Delivers Broad VMware Virtual San Support For Enterprise And Cloud Data Centers

HGST announces a broad portfolio of certified devices for VMware Virtual SAN, VMware's software-defined storage product. The HGST hardware certification list includes 12Gb/s SAS solid state drives (SSDs), PCIe Flash accelerators, as well as performance and capacity hard disk drives (HDDs) from the company’s Ultrastar family, including the industry’s only helium-filled HDD product line. Together, these certified devices provide interoperable storage tiers for VMware Virtual SAN.
