Hospital Management with MEDICUS 

MEDICUS is a hospital information system aimed at hospital & patient management. It stores and processes patient data, accounting information, hospital administration and inventory updates with a client-server approach. The interface is user-friendly and simple.

The application starts with a login prompt and gives access to a certain section based on the entered login id. The software features Patient Data, Lab, OPD, IPD, References, Reports, Inventory under various sections. Each section has a set of forms which act as interfaces between the user and the backend server used for storage & retrieval of data. 

It has a user-friendly interface

MEDICUS comes with a multimedia help feature. If the computer has a sound card, the audio help instructs the user at every stage. The multimedia help can be switched off at any stage.

Another feature in this package is that modules or sections can be added or removed from the software based on the hospitals requirement. This gives the flexibility to add new sections as and when necessary and customize every hospital database. If the user exits the application using the Logout button on the toolbar, the next time the software logs in with the same screen.

MEDICUS allows the flexibility to choose the front-end and backend. The databases lupported are SQL, MySQL, Oracle, Access and even dBase. The application can run in Internet Explorer or Netscape.
