Forty sales executives meeting prospective clients in different parts of the region you handle. How do you track them? Do you know how many clients each met the previous day and their progress?
You can handle this through e-mail or daily reports, but mining relevant info is a laborious task. Instead, you can ask your sales persons to get onto a PC (even from home) at the end of the day and log in their reports on
SalesMIS.net. You have to first register, customize the sales-automation software to suit your company’s products and employees. Log into
www.salesmis.net, enter your company’s name, your id and password and you’re into your domain on Sify’s secure data center in
Mumbai, which is maintained by Netlink–the developer of this service.
Each sales person can enter details about the clients he has called upon and assign a status (hot, cold, or warm) to them. He can enter details on follow-up and stock checking he may have done at a dealer’s place as well as ask for feedback from his superior. A planner lets him schedule his meetings, and a messaging environment lets him stay in touch with the head office. A manager can log in and see the status on each of his team member’s performance. He can set targets for each and can give feedback, issue comments and assign tasks. The next time the sales person logs in, he can see what is to be done.
You can generate MIS reports in many ways. You can also get a channel stock report, calculate the travel expenditure or even send out messages.
Netlink will soon offer the service for PDAs, cellphones and as a voice-enabled option.
