Apple released iOS 17.2.1 to eligible iPhone models on Tuesday, along with unspecified bug patches, in preparation for the impending holiday season. The upgrade comes just a week after Apple released iOS 17.2 with the Journal app, which was initially revealed at WWDC 2023. Apple hasn't released an update for iPadOS, but macOS Sonoma has been upgraded to version 14.2.1, which includes a remedy for a screen-sharing error, according to the Cupertino company.

Apple advises that all customers update to iOS 17.2.1 even though release notes do not specify which bugs have been fixed.
