This sleek and stylish mobile inkjet printer is meant for
on-the-move printing. The printer is farely compact and lightweight. The wired
way to use it is over USB, but it also has WiFi and Bluetooth printing options
for which you would need to buy an optional card that costs around 5k. The
printer comes with rechargeable Lithium ion battery (2300 mAh) as well as an
external power supply. It did well in the performance and quality tests.

Though the print-quality test with the
Normal
, Best and Max dpi gave good results, the fast draft and fast normal modes were
not so impressive. Text-print test gave good clarity at 4 pt normal for fast
draft mode and 2 pt bold for fast normal mode. But it did well in the speed
tests with both the fast modes. So you can choose whether you want the best
quality or speed using one of the five printing options that it offers. Speed
tests at Max dpi took about two and a half times more than the best quality mode
but didn't show any apparent difference in quality. Also the printer took 4
mins 18 secs to print a full page graphic, which is justified. It supports
Pictbridge allowing you to connect directly to a digital camera or cellphone. It
has two flash memory reader slots: one each for Compact flash type I and SD/MMC
cards. Just insert a card and print photos without connecting to a PC.
With all these features and connectivity options, the price of the printer is
also competitive. The black cartridge can be swapped for color for six
color printing if you need.
Bottom Line: Given the wired and wireless
connectivity options, print quality and speed, this printer is a good choice for
on-the-move printing. The price of course could be a deterrent. The average cost
of per page printing is Rs 2 for black and Rs 4 for color prints.
