This office PC from the HP Pavilion was the only model with a ‘desktop’ cabinet design. The rest were tower type. This PC scored the highest in features.
It’s built around a motherboard, based on an Intel 815 chipset and comes with a PIII/800 MHz processor, 128 MB RAM, a 15” color monitor, a 48X CD-ROM drive, and a
5,400 rpm 20 GB hard disk. Of all the PIIIs we received, this was the only other machine
to come with onboard Ethernet. It comes pre-installed with Windows 98SE.

The Vectra was the top performer in this category with a score of 36.2 points.
The Vectra also tops in warranty, with a 3-year warranty–1 year comprehensive and 2 years on parts. As for the software, it comes with a Windows 98SE recovery CD, a driver CD, and Internet Guard Dog anti-virus software.
So, with the best features and best performance, where did it lose? Price, this was the costliest PC we received. A lower pricing would definitely make this an attractive buy.
