HTC brings slew of Desire Smartphones to India starting at Rs 16,890

HTC India has added more devices to its Desire smartphone line-up in India with prices ranging between Rs 17,000 and Rs 33,000. The company has been busy flaunting its products in the mid and high-end segment but looking at the market scenario they have decided to join the ranks of Micromax, Samsung, Sony and Nokia among others in offering mid-range devices.

First up is the Desire 700 dual SIM phone which packs a 5 inch display , 1.2 GHz quad-core CPU, 1 GB RAM, 8 GB internal memory (expandable up to 64 GB), 8 MP rear and 2.1 MP front cameras and loaded with a 2100 mAh battery. This one is priced at Rs 33,050.

Desire 601 Dual SIM phone sports a 4 inch display, 1.2 GHz quad-core CPU, 1 GB RAM, 4 GB internal memory (expandable up to 64 GB), 5 MP rear and VGA front cameras and also loaded with a 2100 mAh battery.

Along with Desire 700 and Desire 601 comes the Desire 501 dual-SIM phone that comes with a 4 inch display, 1 GHz dual-core CPU, 1 GB RAM, 8 GB internal memory (expandable up to 64 GB), 8 MP rear and 2.1 MP front cameras and loaded with 2100 mAh battery.

The HTC Desire 601 and HTC Desire 501 will be available with mobile operators for Rs 24,190 and 16,890 respectively.
